Council on Aging & Yoga



The Council on Aging also has a midday yoga and meditation class beginning this fall. See the attached flyer for more information. 



Yoga and Meditation
October 22nd
Yoga can be done by everyone.  You can sit in a chair, you can sit on the floor.  You stretch.  You breathe.  You feel wonderful.
Meditation is a powerful tool for helping us keep the mind clear.  Think of all the noise that is continually going on in your head.  Meditation helps you clear the mind to find a peaceful place to be.  It has been proven to help with memory, attention, thought and consciousness.
  Join us for a gentle yoga and meditation workshop!
 “Five Weeks to Better Health” meets on October 22nd  and continuing every Tuesday through November 19th.  This meets at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.  Cost is $25 for the five week session.  This is led by our certified yoga/meditation instructor, Diane. 
At the Holland Street Center at 167 Holland Street Somerville.
RSVP and pre-registration is required.  617-625-6600 ext. 2316.

Class will be limited to the first 14 people that sign up.
