Monster Mashed UP

SomerStreets is the City of Somerville’s Open Streets initiative, which fosters community involvement and active living by closing a section of roadway and offering active, family-friendly programming along the route.

On Sunday, October 20th, the City will host the last SomerStreets of the Season,"MonsterMashed UP" on Somerville Avenue (Washington Street to Wilson Square) from noon-4 p.m. (rain or shine) with: 

• Costume Parade at 12:30 pm (Bow Street to Conway Park)
• Oktoberfest (1 -6 PM) (Washington St. to Bow St.)
• Music and Entertainment on Two Stages
• Food and Craft Vendors
• Ghosts of Somerville Cemetery Tour
• Costume Contests:

·          Kids Contest 2pm at Conway Park

·          Dog Contest 12-2pm at RiverDog see flier here

·          Adult Contest 3pm at RiverDog

• Pumpkin Carving Exhibition
• Hay Rides

                        And MUCH, MUCH, MORE!!!!!
